R’ HOUSE (inside the Owl Club Loft)

Something special is in ROSEVILLE of all places. R’House, the Saturday night party inside the all new Owl Club (upstairs) is truly a cosmopolitan gem in a sea of small town and suburban mediocrity (and I’m talking about Sacramento too, not just Roseville). New owners Mark and Lorraine recently took over and are making the most out of this special little space, totally remaking the club from the ground up from new paint, removing walls, a new VIP area behind the bar, to (most importantly to me) a brand new sound system.

This isn’t your grandpappy’s Owl Club! Stop by some Saturday and see. This party has been going on for less than two months now and is becoming a regular stop to old Roseville regulars and dance music aficionados alike.

Oh ya, forgot to mention, not only am I a regular at R’House I’ve played there twice and am going to be a monthly resident going forward! On the grand opening night I got the call from Sacramento dance music pioneer Karizma, visiting N Cali from his home in Portland OR to play at R’House, asking me to open. It was a great night for all even though the club had not yet been refined to today’s level. Since then I’ve been back many times for stand out deejays and dear friends Vince Lombardi, Sukh B, and Bobby Martinez behind the decks and played with Rich Soto (Rich Soul/Dick Jesus) just last weekend. I truly look forward to what R’House has in store for all dance music lovers!
